Friends University is proud to announce the grand opening of its newly renovated and expanded recording studio, made possible through a generous donation from Leon Trammell, a small business owner and author of How Underdogs Win. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, in the Business and Technology Building on the Friends University Wichita campus.

Leon Trammell, founder of Tramco and longtime supporter of Friends University, contributed the funds that transformed the university’s podcast station into a state-of-the-art recording studio. The facility will feature a wrap-around green wall for immersive visual effects, high-definition video and audio equipment and professional-grade editing software—offering students access to industry standard tools to bring their academic and creative projects to life.
